Kali Hotel and Rooftop, Autograph Collection Tops Out at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California
Major milestone for the only hotel within the Western United States’ largest urban mixed-use development under construction
LOS ANGELES (September 10, 2025) – KPC Development Company announces the topping out of Kali Hotel and Rooftop, Autograph Collection, a $300-million, 300-key hotel rising at Hollywood Park in Inglewood, California. This milestone brings the only hotel permitted within the Hollywood Park Specific Plan one step closer to its anticipated opening in September 2026.
The symbolic raising of the ceremonial steel beam marks the topping out achievement, signaling completion of the building’s structural frame. With this major phase complete, visible progress continues throughout the site, with windows already installed on the third floor and advancing on higher levels, while concrete has been poured for the hotel’s 12th-floor rooftop and helistop.
At the ceremony held on September 10, 2025, local dignitaries and leadership from the City of Inglewood, Clayco builders, Hollywood Park, and KPC Development Company recognized the contributions of individuals instrumental in the project’s construction phase.
“Kali Hotel represents KPC’s inaugural luxury project in Los Angeles, with more developments planned for the market,” said Dr. Kali P. Chaudhuri, Chairman and Founder of KPC Development Company. “We broke ground less than 11 months ago on this project driven by vision and passion. Today’s ceremony demonstrates substantial progress on what is the only hospitality destination of its kind in Greater Los Angeles. The hotel has already received great interest ahead of premier sporting events in 2027 and beyond.”
Located next to SoFi Stadium and YouTube Theater, Kali Hotel and Rooftop sits within walking distance of Intuit Dome, Kia Forum, NFL Los Angeles West Coast headquarters, and the forthcoming Hollywood Park Studios. The hotel is ideally positioned to serve visitors to the area’s world-class entertainment venues, business travelers, and residents of Inglewood.
Upon opening under the management of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, Kali Hotel and Rooftop joins Autograph Collection Hotels, the distinctive premium brand of independent hotels in Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of over 30 extraordinary brands. Kali Hotel and Rooftop embraces Los Angeles’ dynamic spirit—equally playful and fresh, eclectic and glamorous—delivering the art of hospitality with an authentic sense of place. Featuring a 12th-floor restaurant and bar, the expansive rooftop is poised to become a signature destination for elevated dining and entertainment with spectacular views.
The hotel also comprises 300 guest rooms, including 34 suites, and offers a signature all-day dining concept, lobby bar, pool and yoga deck, spa, fitness center, and nearly 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Construction continues with exterior work, interior buildout, and design installation led by builder Clayco, architect Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC), and Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence in collaboration with global design firm Gensler on interiors.
Kali Hotel and Rooftop complements the thriving ecosystem taking shape at Hollywood Park, the largest urban mixed-use development under construction in the Western U.S., being built by Los Angeles Rams Owner/Chairman E. Stanley Kroenke. The live, work and play destination recently announced the addition of a state-of-the-art movie studio and production facility to the 300-acre campus. Hollywood Park Studios is under construction and will initially serve as the host site of the International Broadcast Center for one of the world’s biggest sporting events in 2028, housing hundreds of global media rights holders. The nearby NFL Los Angeles has been designated the Main Press Center, further solidifying Hollywood Park’s position as a hub for media, entertainment and technology.
