Vehicle Dimensions, RVs/Buses & Pass Requirements

REGULAR TAILGATE VEHICLES

Tailgate spaces consist of a 9ft by 18ft parking stall with a 9ft by 6ft tailgating section behind the parked vehicle. All tailgating activities must fit within this allotted space.

  • Vehicles exceeding a size of 9 feet by 18 feet are not allowed within parking lot tailgating areas.
  • The purchase / use of a parking pass requires a vehicle to be present. Guests may not purchase multiple parking passes to expand their tailgating footprint.
  • Non-licensed motorized and non-motorized vehicles are prohibited within the designated tailgating parking lot(s), including without limitation golf carts, Segways, skateboards, scooters, and hoverboards. Bicycles are permitted in tailgating areas only at designated bike racks.

RECREATIONAL VEHCILES (RVs) & BUSES: Hyundai Lot P

  • Any RVs or buses must pre-purchase an RV/Bus pass specifically for Hyundai Lot P (POVR). RV/Bus passes are extremely limited and must be purchased in advance. This is the only lot able to accommodate RVs and buses at SoFi Stadium.
  • Hyundai Lot P (POVR) will be restricted to recreational vehicles and buses ONLY. Vehicles that are neither a bus nor an RV but do not fit the 9ft by 18ft size of a standard tailgate stall (including but not limited to attached trailers, pickup trucks with extended beds, sprinter vans with extended wheelbases) will not be permitted in Hyundai Lot P and may be turned away.
  • RV/Bus Tailgate spaces consist of a 45ft by 9ft parking stall with a 45ft by 6ft tailgating section next to the parked vehicle. Buses and RVs may not exceed 45 feet in length by 9 feet in width. All tailgating activities must fit within the allotted space.
  • Vehicles that have purchased an RV / Bus pass that meet the 9ft by 18ft dimensions of a normal tailgate stall are subject to relocation. Purchase of an RV / Bus pass does not entitle you to that space if you do not arrive in an RV or Bus.

Tailgate Equipment & Setup

SETUP POLICIES

  • All fire lanes and drive aisles must always remain clear and unobstructed. Vehicle tailgates should not interfere with the flow of traffic. Fire lanes must be kept clear of tailgating equipment so emergency response vehicles and personnel may park or pass through.
  • Within the tailgating parking lots, the drive aisles will be 24ft wide. Management will designate a 12ft fire lane within the 24ft drive aisle in which guests will not be able to encroach as part of tailgating. Tailgating will only be allowed directly behind the vehicle up to the fire lane demarcation. Please refer to the diagram here for illustration purposes.
  • Overnight parking or storage of equipment by guests in tailgating areas is prohibited. Any vehicles or equipment left overnight will be towed or removed at the owner’s expense.
  • Tailgating areas must be kept in a neat and orderly condition, and all trash must be disposed of in proper receptacles. Guests must return their area back to its original state before entering the event. Trash bags must not be left beside a car or otherwise outside of a trash receptacle within the tailgating area.

Tailgating Frequently Asked Questions

I have a family or friend attending with me who also has a tailgate pass, how can I set up my tailgate next to theirs?

There is no reserved parking within parking lot tailgating areas. If guests wish to park near a family member or friend, we recommend arriving at the parking gate and lot at the same time. Both vehicles must have the approved tailgating parking passes for the designated tailgating parking lot(s), and regardless of arrival time, all guests must park as designated by parking staff.

Can I purchase an extra pass so that I can have more space to tailgate?

No. Guests may not purchase multiple parking passes to expand their tailgating footprint. Parking Permit(s) cannot be purchased for the sole purpose of having a space for tenting, tables, grills, and other tailgating activities separate from parking.

I have a vehicle that is not a bus or an RV but is larger than a normal vehicle. Where can I park?

Vehicles must either be a standard vehicle and fit within the 9ft by 18ft size of the parking stalls or be a recreational vehicle / bus with a pre-purchased RV/Bus parking pass for Hyundai Lot P. Hyundai Lot P (POVR) will be restricted to recreational vehicles and buses ONLY. Vehicles that are neither a bus nor an RV but do not fit the 9ft by 18ft size of a standard tailgate stall (including but not limited to attached trailers, pickup trucks with extended beds, sprinter vans with extended wheelbases) will not be permitted in and may be turned away.

Parking Terms & Conditions

Drug & Alcohol Policy

Management expects that its guests will engage in responsible drinking behavior, and if applicable, responsible hosting guidelines. Use of controlled substances and underage drinking shall be prohibited in accordance with applicable laws. Drinking games or any other activity that is linked to competitive or excessive drinking are not permitted. All guests who plan to consume alcohol within a Tailgating Area should always carry a current government-issued photo ID with them that clearly indicates date of birth. If Management personnel request proof of a guest’s legal drinking age and none can be provided, then drinks are subject to confiscation and such guests are subject to immediate ejection from the premises. No consumption of alcoholic beverages in Tailgating Areas after kick-off or event start time shall be allowed. Intoxication, profanity, aggressive behavior, and unsportsmanlike conduct may be grounds for revocation of tailgate privileges and ejection from the premises.

Management and its personnel shall be permitted to check IDs of any individual serving or consuming alcohol within a Tailgating Area and may implement a wrist-band distribution system for certain events. No alcohol shall be allowed within any special Tailgating Area designated as an “Alcohol-Free Zone".
