Click on the Add Content button and choose the News widget.
The widget will automatically add itself to the very bottom of the page.
Click the Edit button to select which news promotion type you'd like to bring in, choose a layout. There are two layouts to choose from Wide, which is three columns, or Square, which is one column and has the additional choice of whether or not you'd like to bring back the thumbnail or not.
Save the widget.
